Setting up ancillary units and value addition being the prime driver of our state’s endeavor to expand industrial growth, the state government whole heartedly welcomes entrepreneurs who can support our vision.”
Odisha has led in mineral processing during the last decade, and we have seen phenomenal growth in primary metal making, power generation, and infrastructure capacity augmentation in the state. I am glad to state that the initiatives taken by my government over the last one and half decades have resulted in significant growth in industrialization, creation of employment opportunities and local entrepreneurship. Now, we are focused on creating an environment to build capacities for further value addition, thereby creating more employment opportunities for our youth.
We are building new Industrial parks, developing Industrial corridors and planning large Investment Regions. I am confident that sector specific and Industrial Parks like Angul Aluminum Park, Paradeep Plastics Park, Khurda Food Park , Sea Food Park , Info-valley , ESDM park etc. will be able to attract similar investments.
I congratulate SMS India for having reposed it’s faith in the industrial eco-system of Odisha. I am pleased to know that this project will create direct employment opportunities for about 250 highly skilled engineers and indirectly to another 150 skilled workers in such an advanced industrial establishment.
