Bhubaneshwar : HDFC Bank Ltd. has opened a new branch at KIIT University in Bhubaneshwar. The new branch will offer the full range of world-class banking solutions to meet the needs of the local population. With this the city will have 13 branches.
The new branch located at KIIT University, Campus-3. It will remain open six days a week, offering residents the flexibility to carry out their banking transactions at the time most convenient for them.
The new branch was inaugurated by Dr. Achutya Samanta, Founder of KIIT University in the presence of Mr. Debashis Senapati, Zonal Head, Mr. Arjunanda Bagh, Cluster Head, and Ms. Soubhagya Manjari Sahoo, Branch Manager.
Speaking on the new branches, Mr. Debashis Senapati, Zonal Head, HDFC Bank, said: “Our extensive branch network reiterates our commitment to take formal banking services to every part of Odisha. With this launch, HDFC Bank now has a network of 99 branches across Odisha. As of September 30, 2014, the Bank had a distribution network with 3,600 branches and 11,515 ATMs in 2,272 cities/towns. At a national level, the Bank has 56% of its branches in semi-urban and rural areas and is continuously extending its reach in the hinterland in its endeavour to support inclusive growth.
The new branches will offer customers world-class banking services under one roof ranging from basic services such as Savings Account, Fixed Deposits, Current Account, Mutual Funds, NRI, Insurance, Two-wheeler loan, Auto loan to sophisticated direct access banking channels such as ATM, PhoneBanking, NetBanking and International Credit and Debit Cards.
