Bhubaneswar: Kalyan Jewellers, India’s leading and trusted jewellery brand marked its foray into Eastern India for the first time with the launch of the inaugural showroom in Odisha at Bhubaneswar. The company is investing Rs. 60 crore. Spread across 15,000 sq.feet, the 2-storey showroom is located at Shahid Nagar. The showroom will offer over 2 lakh contemporary and traditional gold and diamond designs curated by some of the best artisans from across the country. The showroom will feature popular and exquisite Kalyan gold collections from Sankalp, Tamas and Florets, and diamonds from Anokhi, Antara, Hera and Sinor Solitaire range. The showroom will be inaugurated on June 5th by Kalyan Brand Ambassadors and Superstars, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni.

Kalyan Jewellers has been aggressively expanding its distribution network after the recent equity infusion. The company is investing Rs. 800 crore this fiscal to open 22 showrooms in India and West Asia. Kalyan Jewellers plans to enhance its distribution network by 30% and is targeting revenues of Rs. 13,000 crore by the end of the financial year. The company is also ramping up manufacturing operations and plans to have India’s biggest production house by 2017.
Kalyan has emerged as a strong national player with presence across South India, Maharashtra, Gujarat, National Capital Region (NCR) and Punjab. With this new showroom, Kalyan will have a network of 82 exclusive showrooms in India and West Asia. It targets to have 100 showrooms by the end of the year.
