Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today hit out at the centre stating that the centre has over the years been ignoring Odisha and has completely failed at ensuring security and financial stability in the country. Addressing BJD’s Jansampark Yatra at the Rental Colony, Bhubaneswar , Chief Minister said that the centre is turning a blind eye towards the problems in the state of Odisha, following which Odisha is suffering in all sectors. Apart from disproportionate mineral royalty, the centre is also ignoring Odisha in railway sector. He further said that the Raghuram Rajan Committee report has only rubbed salt to the wounds.
At the Jamsampark yatra here, Minister of Finance Prasanna Acharya, MP Prasanna Patsani, MLA Bhagirathi Badajena, Ashok Chandra Panda, Bijay Mohanty, Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, Deputy Mayor Bharati Singh, Bhubaneswar district BJP Chairman Babuli Mishra, Youth BJD President Babu Singh, local corporator Samir Pradhan and other BJD workers were also present.
