Speech of CM during the signing of MoU
It gives me immense pleasure to be present during the signing of MoU between Govt. of Odisha and NTPC. for setting up a Medical College at Sundergarh. I congratulate NTPC authorities for their decision to set up a Medical College in Sundergarh, a predominantly Tribal District. This will not only cater to the health needs of the people of the region but also leverage our consistent efforts to overcome the probhem of shortage of doctors. I also take this opportunity to appeal to other Public Sector Undertakings operating in Odisha to set up Medical Colleges & Hospitals in other parts of the state and I assure all support from State Government.
I convey my best wishes to NTPC and the Health & Family Welfare Department of the State Government for making this possible and urge both of them to make it functional by the 2016-2017 academic session.
