Complementing the re-launch of Tata Tea Premium in Orissa, a new TV commercial titled, ‘Maa Rana’ was also unveiled. The commercial is aligned to the Jaago Re philosophy of awakening Indians to take a stance against important social issues. This commercial brings to light the issue of gender discrimination of a very subtle nature. Even though the woman is an anchor of the household, often, she doesn’t get the due respect. The brand hopes to restore this respect for the mother that she truly deserves.
